UV and LED UV printing are taking over the design and printing industry due to their unprecedented print quality and the sheer number of applications. UV printers can work with almost any substrate, the most popular ones being glass, aluminum, metal sheets, KT boards, wood, density boards, PVC, acrylics, and ceramics. These substrates are used in printing in the advertisement, home décor, furniture, and leather goods industries, etc.
2. What kind of maintenance does the UV 1316 flatbed printer require?
To begin with, the area around the printer itself should be clean and accessible for regular cleaning in the future. This is because the UV 1316 flatbed printer, like most electronic appliances, is designed to keep dust from entering from the top or sides of its body. The users must protect the underbelly of the device by light cleaning and dusting. Accumulated dust quickly affects the linear rail guider and negates whatever lubrication the printer ever had. 3. What software must I install to operate the UV 1316 flatbed printer?
Our UV flatbed printer models come with rip software& Print software (Printexp) Riin RIP, which can be compatible with image designs from Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator software, which file formats can be jpg, tiff, pdf, psd Etc. Print software which process ripped photo from Riin, so printer can proceed with printing.
4. How do I manage ink misting during prints?
Use pre-treatment liquid or an alcohol-based light-cleaning fluid to clean the substrate surface. Static electricity of the substrate material is the most common cause of misting in prints and can be resolved easily using cleaning fluids. If the complaint is still unresolved, look for inlets of external wind influencing your ink particles.
5. How long do UV prints last?
The longevity of UV prints is generally dependent on the substrate material used. However, most UV prints can last 2 years outdoors without fading. A laminated UV print can last up to 5 years under normal exposure and use.
6. Is UV printing scratch-resistant?
One of the reasons UV prints have rapidly become so popular is their high resistance to scratching and abrasion.
7. How do I manage the printing carriage moving during printing?
If your printer carriage appears stuck or unresponsive, the first thing to do is check the computer's connection. Disconnect and reconnect the cord, and reboot the computer. If the problem is not solved, use an alcohol-based cleaning fluid to clean your raster. Try replacing the raster and raster encoder as a last resort.
